Folklore Mondays: Thanksgiving ’13 Edition

In honor of the holiday–troublesome though some aspects of it may be–here’s a quick link to the Library of Congress’ “Thanksgiving in American Memory” resource. I’ve only clicked briefly through it myself, but it seems to be full of interesting information about the holiday.

I hope everyone has a safe and relaxing holiday. Fight the Black Friday nonsense–you’re better than that. And eat some stuffing and something pumpkiny for me.

    • Glad to hear it! I have no appreciate of the holiday per se, and not a drop of “patriotism” in me, but the food is just brilliant, and I tend to think with my stomach. So I hope she enjoys it!
